Formed 10000 years ago, Delta it’s the youngest piece of land in Europe situated in the vicinity of the oldest mountains of the planet-Macin Mountains formed 400 milions years ago. It has three arms: Chilia, Sulina and Sf Gheorghe, all with the same direction - the Black Sea.
This land has the richest ornithological fauna in the world, over 300 species, the most compact surface covered with cane in the world. These are some of the unique characteristics of Delta, but only a safari into the wild Delta will make you realize its uniqueness. For those who love nature an exploratory boat trip into the wild Delta meandering along its maze of channels, lakes and reed beds it’s a lifetime’s experience.
Boar safari through the channels, fishing, wine tasting, bird watching, admiring a pelican colony, walking in the local woods, a sunset cruise, a visit to the monasteries at Saon and Cocos, an archeological trip to Isaccea, these are some ideas for a traveler exploring this incredible area.
More than half of the entire surface of the Danube Delta was added in 1990 on the International Cultural and Natural Patrimony List, mainly due to the patrimonial value of the biosphere reservation.

1st Day - The adventure begins...
In the morning departure to Tulcea, the “city-gate” founded by the Greeks leading to the Danube Delta, the birds’ paradise.
Arrival in Murighiol and transfer to Sf. Gheorghe (the biggest fishermen’s village having the widest sand beach in Romania) by motorboat (1hour).
Transfer to the village to the 4 stars luxury complex, giving you all the modern confort in this wild place.
Here twenty two 4 stars villas, one 3 stars villa, three luxury restaurants, three bars, a business center with cinema and conference halls, swimming pool, sauna, badminton court... and much more are waiting for their guests to offer them unique moments in a place of an amazing beauty.

2nd Day - Where the Delta meets the Black Sea
In the morning you will have breakfast on your terrase enjoying your coffee. You can walk in the Sf. Gheorghe village to discover the wild nature and the friendly people from these parts, away from the civilisation and from the noise of the modern world.
Sfantu Gheorghe is a magical place, where the Danube meets the Black Sea, an unconventional, picturesque place out of time... with many flowers, sun, sand, vividly painted houses burst by the wind, with hand-made wooden decorations and reed roofs. The beach, situated at a 15 to 20 minutes walking distance on roads covered with fine sand, is wild, full of shells and teasels and seems infinite (30 km). This incredible place has determined the commander Jacques Yves Cousteau to take steps towards the international authorities, in order to declare the Biosphere Danube Delta Nature Reserve an international heritage.
Lunch in the complex and free time just for yourself: Badminton, Beach football, Ping pong, Pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Internet, TV, Board Games, Rummy, Library, Swimming Pool, Fitness etc.
In the evening you will enjoy the fascinating sunset in the Delta and serve a special dinner on the terrace of the restaurant. You can also watch a movie in the cinema inside the complex.

3rd Day - Exploring the Delta
This day will be dedicated to exploring the most possible of the Delta. By boat you will get to see other fishermen villages, great fishing areas, then explore the natural forest reservations, having the aspect of tropical forests, the lakes of the Delta, the wild canals and hidden places and last but not least the pelicans’ colony.
For lunch you will return to the complex.
After lunch free time for you to enjoy the nature or to relax.
Dinner on the terrase with admiring the amazing sunset of the Delta.
Overnight in the same complex with double view: the Delta and the Sea.
4th Day - Last day in the paradise
After breakfast vou can enter the Delta's heart through narrow channels with yellow and white water lilies, to fish or to watch the uncountable rare species of birds. You can watch the nesting of water birds, the apparition of chicks on the canals, the colonies of noisy pelicans, black coots running on the water, graceful swans or frowning cormorants.
From October until December, when nature wears the colors of autumn, some of the birds leave to the Nile Delta, but others fine feathered friends arrive, from the extreme north. You can see them early in the morning, flying like ghosts through the thick fog that covers the Delta where the river meets the sea.
Lunch in the complex and transfer to Murighiol by motorboat. Transfer by car to Bucharest.
Special farewell dinner in a typical Romanian restaurant.

3. WILD DELTA TOUR
A real tour by boat exploring the Danube Delta, with local driver and guide, having traditional meals on board or in
locals' houses and sleeping in typical gueshouses
1st Day
Early in the morning we will leave Tulcea to Caraorman village, situated in the middle of the Danube Delta.We will cross a very nice canal Litcov, with a lot of birds like herons, egrets, pelicans, ibis, spoonbils. Lunch on board, dinner and accomodation in Caraorman in a nice guest house.
2nd Day
After a visit in the forest Caraorman we will leave to Mila 23 crossing the lakes Bogdaproste,Trei Iezere, Radacinos. Mila 23 is a very interesting villagge, old belivers russian people living there.
Is a day of pelicans, rollers and a lor of other thigs. Also, we will stop in Crisan villagge to visit the Danube Delta eco information centre.
Lunch on board, dinner and accomodation in Mila 23 village in a beautiful guest house.
3rd Day
Starting Mila 23 village we will visit a very nice monastery, BATAG, situated in the middle of the reed area. After the visit we will continue the day with short trips with small boats on very very wild places where we could see the birds at 1-2 m. far.
Lunch on board, dinner and accomodation in Mila 23 village, in a guest house.
4th Day
After the breakfast in your guest house, starting another beautiful day.Return to Tulcea town on Sontea, Olgutza, Sireasa, Mila 35 canals. Of course,a short break for caffee on Fortuna lake will be great. As birds...full day for herons,s wans, pelicans, egrets, white tailed eagle and more,more others.Lunch on board, including very tasty Romanian wine. From Tulcea going back to Bucharest.

CancellationIn the case of cancellation of the tour, not later then 2 weeks before departure, the paid tour fee will be refunded, with the exception of 50 EUR for administrative costs
